We Gotsda Bling Yo!

Greetings Earthlings!

Meghadise here. Long time no talk. You probably missed us. Sorry you had to go through that withdrawal. But now we are back in business!! Soo there's a little bit of ground to cover since we last gave an update. For starters, we had Sadie Hawkins this past Wednesday. Not to toot our own horn or anything but... TOOT TOOT TOOT! It is pretty funny! I, Meghan, dressed as Loonette from the Big Comfy Couch and Paradise, co-blogger, was Mickey Mouse. Pretty Cute! We enjoyed some delicious breakfast for supper, as our theme was Saturday Morning Cartoons. Waffles, bacon, hashbrowns, smoothies, and cereal. Yum! They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we got it twice! Way to go Girls DC! Due to the prison bus (side note: is that bus even legal?) breaking down after the Kielke Supper, we weren't able to use it for our activity. So instead, our activity will be this coming Wednesday. One less study hour for us! We watched Tarzan in the pit in the evening instead. This ape-man was enjoyed by all of us teenagers. You think we'd grow out of such things, but Disney movies remain classics. 

NEWS FLASH: Girls soccer qualified for Provincials after winning gold in Regionals against Chief Poundmaker and VCA! After the game Paradise was super stoked for Provincials because she could get a coveted Provincial sweater! And the potential for a gold medal of course. Can't forget that one. However, the sweaters ended up being less than appealing soo no sweater for her. But our team sweaters are on their merry way anyway! On Friday we played Outlook and won the game 2-1. We then moved on to the gold medal game against Lake Lenore. They were a good team and the final score was 3-1 for them. Boo hoo. Paradise was able to score the last goal of her high school soccer career in the last 3 minutes of the game. It was an emotional moment. Her face after the goal was almost more of a highlight than the goal itself. We came home with a silver medal. Sorry Larry, Paradise promised you a banner but no cigar. Also, no yellow card for Meghan like you wanted. We don't know which is worse... 

Shout out to Luke Pomedli for easing our minds this weekend. Your help was much needed as we were quite frightened.

All in all, a great weekend. We played hard, laughed hard, and were merry. Now, to catch up on our lack of sleep. Nap time!!! Thank goodness term end is over and we can chillax for the day :)

Dinner and a Show

Well hello there! Fancy seeing you in a purple stew!

So, the theme for Sadie was released on Friday. Teachers loved it. SCORE! Jim loved it. DOUBLE SCORE!! Had Gail stuck around, she would've cried. Almost a triple score.. rats shucks darn.

Alumni tourney was a hoot and a half, especially the part where the alumni kicked our butts. That was our favourite part! Sorry for the aforementioned comment about the first aid kits, consider it revoked.

Yesterday the two of us went on a date. We started with a nice dinner out at Calories on Broadway. When we first looked at the prices our jaws dropped and our money went pale. It was pricey! $ Dollar Bills Y'all $. We scoured the menu and found the most reasonable priced item that would fill our bellies. We chose the grilled cheese with house fries. Let's just say it was the most fancy grilled cheese in this 'ere territory. We finished our meal with dessert. I (P-Dise) really wanted to introduce Meg-whizzle to crème brûlée. I think it's safe to say she l<3ved it. So delicious. We also shared a toffee cheesecake. It was really cute. We then proceeded to the movie theatre, where we watched Magic Mike. And magic it was! We'll break the movie down for you. 80% abs and dancing, 18% men in thongs, and 2% plot. Great movie. Hopefully that doesn't sound sarcastic, it was actually funny. Brendan you have a lot to live up to here. It was quite the date - dinner and a "show." 

When we arrived back at the dorms, there wasn't a soul in sight. Dave was hosting a lone ranger night lunch. Him and 40 cookies. Everyone was in the city at McDick's clogging their arteries. We were exhausted and it was only 10:15. Showered and went to bed. A good night had by all.  

Today we spent all of our afternoon in the shop painting for Sadie. Yes, many paint fumes were inhaled. By the end we were all a little loopy. We managed to get a lot done. GIRLS DC ARE DOERS! We get things done! Don't let anyone tell you differently. 

This week, girls soccer has 2 home games! They are against Outlook and Martensville. We are pumped. Right after that, Regionals!!!! WOOT! Team sweaters are in the works, hopefully they will be ready for provincials. No, Leah, I don't know how much they cost, and yes you can pay with cheque if you'd like. No pennies please. And thanks for trashing P-Dise's room. Greatly appreciated. <3 you. 

Liam - never wear Ryan Wiens' shorts ever again to gym class! Please and thank you. They are even getting small on him.

Consider this the day of our birth :) If you wanna know how to speak the romantic language Italian, then dees ees nat da blog fo yooo! Do you read us? You combining what we're swathing? ;) We hope so! By the way, this ones for you Luke Pomedli. This was your idea and now we have finally gotten around to it so be sure to check our blog often. ok? It's sure to be a regular riot!

So far this year we have written about six essays for Larry, had a lovely picture day ('Megha' from the Meghadise looked like a hunchback in the 'Dise's' shirt. Everyone loves to shop at her closet) and had borsht and long johns!! Some idiots downed 17 of those bad boys. You've earned that pot belly boys. Just kidding, Liam you're still a fricken giraffe. Settle down! But seriously, stop taking ten cookies at night lunch! Paradise will smack you! Stick to the cookie sand if you're feeling peckish.

But let's get down to the nitty gritty. The theme for Sadie is being released in 2 days! Super exciting, right? Girls DC has been workin' hard to produce a masterpiece, it's us at our wittiest. Sure to knock your socks into next week. Also coming up quickly is Alumni tournament, you old farts are gonna get your butts kicked. Don't worry though, we have first aid kits if you need them. Ya that's right...we went there. Nothing you can do about it considering your just sittin' and home, staring at a screen with smoke coming from your nostrils. You'll get over it.

Well the deans are about to forceably separate us soo it's time for P-dise to skidaddle back to her place of residence on the main level. Time to brush those pearly whites and get some zzzzz's. We hope you feel all ketched-up and mustarded.
